It has already been an exciting season for the Women’s Super League 1, and with the new year in full throttle, the players will be looking to add nicely to their score tallies.

Since the start of the season in September, several players have already impressed greatly with not only their ability to score goals, but also their determination both on and off the pitch!

Manchester City women’s midfielder, Isobel Christiansen, has demonstrated her ambitious nature this year having scored six goals so far for the club, she has also got a 75% total for her shots on target.

Christiansen is definitely one of the ones to watch this season as she continues to display a great quality of football within her club. Since joining the squad back in 2014, Christiansen has always impressed with her footballing ability; this also shows when playing for England where she is an extremely valued member of the team.

Having previously played for teams such as Birmingham and Leicester in the past and being signed to Reading in 2016, Allen has been given the time to develop into an impressive young player with a bright future ahead of her.

Reading have also taken productive advantage of the January transfer window and brought in four new players who will also ones to look out for as season continues to unravel in the coming months. Natasha Harding has joined from Liverpool, so she will be looking to impress at her new club and gain even more experience with her teammates.
